Moses Lake, WA Dentist

Meet Dr. Nick Smith

Dr. Nick Smith believes dentistry is about more than teeth; it’s about people, comfort, and helping patients enjoy life with confidence. Originally from High Point, North Carolina, Dr. Smith moved to Pocatello, Idaho, as a teenager, where his passion for serving others grew.

After completing a two-year mission in Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Smith attended Idaho State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis in biomedical sciences. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.

Outside the office, Dr. Smith is a devoted husband to Morgan and an active father of three. Family time is central to his life, and when he’s not caring for patients, you’ll often find him with loved ones, catching a game, or exploring new restaurants. A lifelong athlete, Dr. Smith’s background in baseball instilled in him discipline, teamwork, and a drive for excellence that he brings into his practice every day.

Dr. Smith looks forward to welcoming you and your family and helping you feel confident in your smile for years to come.

A Note of Gratitude

We extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Craig R. Harder, who for over 20 years provided exceptional dental care to the Moses Lake community. His commitment to excellence, lasting results, and patient well-being established the strong foundation of this practice. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

Why did you become a dentist?

Growing up, Dr. Nick Smith wanted to become a veterinarian just like his father. However, he eventually learned that he wanted to be able to talk with his patients! He made the switch to dentistry, found a perfect match for his skills and personality, and hasn’t regretted his decision one bit.

Where did you study dentistry?

After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Idaho, Dr. Nick Smith attended Creighton University for dental school. Since then, he has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education courses, mostly focusing on esthetics and minor orthodontics. Nowadays, in addition to the clinical work in his practice, he is a contributing author for Dental Economics, the world’s leading print and digital practice management journal in the dental field. He is also certified in Invisalign.
