Choosing a dental practice to call home for you and your family is a big decision. At Moses Lake Family Dentistry, we want to make this choice as easy for you as possible. That’s why we’re providing the answers to some common questions that we’ve been asked in the past from our patients. We hope they address your concerns, but certainly let us know if you would like to know anything else about our practice! Our team is glad to help—just give us a call!
The short answer is yes, you do. Why? Your mouth is full of bacteria, some of which are benign, but others can be harmful. These bacteria can quickly multiply and cause problems, such as tooth decay or gum disease. By having a checkup and cleaning appointment with us every six months, you can prevent these issues and keep your smile healthy and beautiful now and in the future.
Dr. Harder and our team offer several treatments in addition to traditional metal braces to help you achieve a straight smile, including Invisalign, Six Month Smiles, and in-house clear aligners. Through these options, you can have perfectly aligned teeth in less time and maintain your appearance during treatment. Schedule a consultation with Dr. Harder to see which solution can help you finally get the straight smile you’ve been dreaming of!
Absolutely! Dr. Harder can replace your ill-fitting dentures with traditional full or partial dentures or specialized Strickland Fountain of Youth Facelift Dentures. Also, if you’d like, he can talk to you about implant-retained dentures, which add more stability and long-term health benefits. Each of these can help you regain the teeth you’ve lost and enjoy a higher quality of life. Just give our office a call, and we’ll schedule a consultation with Dr. Harder.
We try to make treatment with us as smooth and easy as possible for you. When you and Dr. Harder have determined that you need one of these restorations, he will prepare either one tooth for a crown or the two teeth that surround the missing one for a bridge. Then we’ll take digital scans of your mouth and send this information to a dental lab. We’ll then place a temporary crown or bridge while the permanent one is being crafted. Finally, you’ll come back into our office to have your restoration bonded in place for a fully restored, beautiful smile.
While you’re in our care, we want your experience to be a positive one. Dr. Harder and the rest of our team take time to give you personalized attention and meet your needs. For those who suffer from anxiety, we offer nitrous oxide sedation to take the edge off your fears. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Harder knows how to perform procedures with a gentle hand. We also use advanced technology that significantly reduces discomfort for diagnosis and treatment. To learn more about our practice, give us a call!
